I've been keeping a journal and writing under the influence. Stop me if you've heard this before.
Sophia gasps as June falls toward his own depths.
Sophia: “June! The plot don’t make no sense!”
June: “No, it makes sense. Doesn’t it?”
“In my valiant attempt to save the green man from space, I was hurled a shmillion lightyears away from the Earth by a shady-nasty witch. I was found by the green man’s partner Acey Blastcaster and her AI copilot K-80 (it’s a play on words in alien language).
They went to help me travel back in time with a faster-than-light vehicle, which is kinda like outrunning the end times if you think about it. [Writer's note: Not really]
As it just so happens, the mighty gray ship appears at just the right moment before the Queen of Space ate the king and was consumed by so much hatred she collapsed into herself-- Write this down!"
Sophia grabs a pen and paper.
June: “So where was I? Oh yeah!
She turned into a goddess and the weight fell into a black hole.
Heavy, right?
And so, Spacehead (and I) heard the call of the Gray Ship and pierced the Dark Black Hole Heart of the Queen. Hence, the name of the title page.
I asked you to write this down because I don’t want to be alone with this thought and I wish you were here, my friend.”
And I swear to god, Sophia with all her might said,
"Son of man, look to the sky
Lift your spirit, set it free
Some day, you'll walk tall with pride
Son of man, a man, in time you'll be
That is to say, I believe in you, Junebug~"
Like she was half joking with her whole heart.
And it happens fast like a shooting star, but June didn’t feel like he had to hate himself.
I mean, striking the dark heart at light speed is some super-hero type shit, no?
