I'm thinking of Milo and June type adventures all the time.

Let's start with Evaran.

He never sleeps. He runs on espresso and power naps in his office. Sometimes he'll talk about dreams he had over the school intercom. The morning announcements go on for a bit.

"Hello students. Your crazy principle here. I don't mean to trauma dump but I was thinking about that one time I save a teenager from an alligator at the water park I worked at ages ago and I was thinking: you can take the alligator out of the lazy river but you can't take the lazy river out of the alligator. Or was it a crocodile? Either way, write that down. I was 'cooking' as they say."

Meanwhile Milo and June are arguing about Atom Ant when Milo erroneously said that he as small as an atom.

"He wasn't as small as an atom. That wasn't his thing. That's not physically possible!" June clutches his fist.

"So is a tiny man!"

I've been studying mid century atomic age design and I'm trying to finalize the setting so I could come up with a way for Milo, June, and Frida to stumble into the secret subterranean tunnels of the school. There's all kinds of freaky cold war relics and pathways because the school used to be a [REDACTED] facility.

On a personal note, the inspiration came from the environment I grew up in, surrounded by the bones and ruin of bunkers and hangars meant for war. That's a story for another time.

But yeah, that's been on my mind these past few weeks. I want to make a new Kicks adventure before the end of the month but there's only three more day before Septemberween!
